HERE’S some happy news for your Sunday evening: Celine Dion is pregnant with twins!

The singer, 42, is expanding her family after undergoing her sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt and turning to acupuncture to improve her chances of a pregnancy, her rep Kim Jakwerth confirms.

The star — who’s already mom to 9-year-old son René-Charles — is 14 weeks along. She will find out the gender of the twins next month.

“We’re ecstatic,” her husband/manager René Angelil told People magazine.

“Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing!”

The star recently revealed she would do anything to have another baby and has been having in vitro fertilisation (IVF) to make her dream come true.

“I’m going to try until it works,” said Celine, who has been married to Rene, 68, for 15 years.

MARIAH Carey has just sent the pregnancy rumor mill into overdrive!

The singer/actress — who’s married to actor/rapper Nick Cannon — abruptly pulled out of her role in Tyler Perry’s new film this week — fueling speculation she’s expecting her first child.

Carey — who won acclaim for her work in Precious – was set to appear in the adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s 1975 play For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Filming was set to start next month.

But on Tuesday Carey withdrew from the project, and her spokeswoman has since released a rather vague statement.

“I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” said publicist Cindi Berger, declining to give a reason for Carey’s withdrawal.

Cannon has previously spoken of his desire to start a family with the We Belong Together hitmaker.

“We absolutely plan to have a family,” he said earlier this year. “But we gotta prioritize, because that’s a major, major priority.

“That’s like the only priority in life, when you think about it, is starting and raising a family. We want to make sure everything is out of the way and that we don’t have any distractions.

“She’s on tour right now, I’m doing a bunch of stuff, so eventually we want to be able to say it’s time to have a kid, and set everything up.

“But we’re definitely moving toward.”

Mariah revealed last year that she and Nick have “discussed” having kids.

“We’ve definitely discussed it,” she said in November. “The only thing is that at this particular moment, it’s almost Christmas. He’s doing his work and I’m promoting and doing all this stuff. Right now is not the moment.

“My parents were divorced and it’s not like, ‘Oh, woe is me!’ A lot of people’s parents are divorced but I would just like to have a nice, normal life for that moment.”

KOURTNEY Kardashian thinks she could beat her sister in a fight.

The 31-year-old socialite and her younger sibling Kim Kardashian admits they haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, and though they have never come to blows, Kourtney thinks she would come out on top if their rows ever got physical.

When asked if she could beat Kim in a fight, Kourtney said, “Yeah.”

“She uses her nails!” Kim added. “I just run. She digs her nails.”

However, the elder sister insisted that Kim can be equally violent: “She pulls hair.”

Although they get on well now, the sisters — who are just 18 months apart in age — used to row quite frequently when they were younger, in particular with jealousy arising over friendships.

“Are we competitive? Definitely growing up,” Kourtney said. “Kim and I are 18 months apart, so growing up like….If I would hang out with Kim’s friends too long.”

Kim added, “I used to always get mad if you were hanging out with my friends.”

Last November, Kim was left nursing a black eye after a charity boxing match got out of hand: “My girl was a good sport, but she was tough!

“I knew I had to do it for charity, since that’s what it was all about, but man, my girl could throw a punch!”

LADY GaGa is taking eccentric to the next level — she’s banned her dancers from having sex on tour because she wants them to “make love to her on stage”!!

Sources say the Poker Face singer — who’s traveling the globe with her Monster Ball tour — has told her performers they must keep it their pants before their high-energy performances.

“She has made it quite clear to all her dancers they are not allowed to have sex while the tour is still going,” an insider told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper.

“She won’t be happy if she f nds out any of them have broken the rules and it’s likely they wouldn’t be asked back.

“She wants them to give 100% on stage so she doesn’t want them wasting energy on bedtime action.

“In saucy routines during the show she pretends to have sex with some of the dancers and wants these bits to look as real as possible.

“She’s a perfectionist and wants  every aspect of the tour just right.”
